I've been busy filling two special orders this week. These particular cupcakes were ordered by a first-time customer (but not first-time eater of The Sugary Shrink cupcakes). I know these little bits of yumminess are good and that still didn't stop a few butterflies of anxiety. It's my goal that each cupcake not only looks delightful but is also delicious.
I was quite relieved to learn the cupcakes and cupcake stand made it to the party in tact and all went well [Sometimes I'll rent one of my cupcakes stands (I have four), but this party was for a friend and that's what friends do for each other. Besides, I know where she lives and will haunt her until the stand comes back to me!].

Chocolate with chocolate buttercream and toasted pecan coconut caramelly goodness? Heaven help me, these are good. And, now I want a special scoop to make that little knot of yumminess look a little bit better. I know where to find it; I just never thought I'd need it.
Chocolate with Nutella buttercream and a mini Ferrero Kusschen on top (a hazelnut wrapped in chocolate). Could this bite of goodness be more inviting?
Anyway, I'm back in the kitchen this afternoon baking more cupcakes and tomorrow I'm baking for a small corporate gathering. Good times for sure.
I love that I get to bake and create and think of new ideas and improve on some old ideas.
UPDATE: The cupcake stand was returned, same day. All sorts of drama was mercifully avoided.
